Introduction + Inspiration.

Hey there! I’m so glad you could join me in this fun and exciting journey! To start things off I want to tell you what inspired me to make this blog. As silly as this sounds, it started with a mug. Yes, a coffee mug.

“This girl runs on coffee & grace”.

When I saw this mug and read the words my head got filled with exciting ideas for a new blog, so I instantly bought the mug and took it home, and started filling a notebook with my ideas. The word grace especially stood out to me because I know that God shows me grace when I don’t deserve it, and I really like coffee. I don’t want this post to be to long, even though I have a lot to share, so I’ll keep it short and sweet.

When I saw the “coffee and grace” mug something stirred in me and I realized that I wanted to share with you some of my life in West Virginia and my adventures with my friends or family.  I’ve come to realize that no matter where you live or what kind of family you have, WE have something in common: coffee and grace. Coffee makes me think of the common ground (ha ha) where we meet as human beings and grace reminds me that we all need it more than we need the coffee. I know that I am blessed to be here on this planet, in this beautiful state, with my sometimes wonderful and sometimes not-so-wonderful family and those that I am lucky to call my friends. So…

I think that’s about it for now.  I would love for you to join me as I learn what it means to run on coffee (lots of cream and sugar please) and grace. I will talk to you again very soon! If you are interested in finding out more about me you can click on where it says ‘About’.
